Baked pear with chocolate core

Peel the pear and cut in half. Use a spoon to remove the core from the pear. Put a large piece of dark chocolate in the hole and place on piece of puff pastry. Make 3 incisions lengthwise in the pear, careful not to cut all the way through. Cut the puff pastry about 1 cm around the pear and create a leaf from the leftovers. Sprinkle the puff pastry with a beaten egg and sprinkle icing sugar over the pear. Bake in a preheated oven (200°C) for about 20 minutes.
